I realized that it has been well over a month since we updated things here. It’s been a crazy few weeks with school starting for both boys and a job change for me but God is beyond good and we are adjusting very well. The boys are getting along great. In fact, the other morning they were singing together and laughing – acting as though both had been in each other’s life from the beginning.

George is doing great in school and I think he might have more English words than he did Korean (which is both cool and sad at the same time). For the longest time, he would shout “MUL!” whenever he saw water and a couple of weeks ago, he started saying “Water!” While we are excited he is growing so fast in his English, it is sad that he probably won’t remember much, if any, Korean before long. Although, he still gets excited when we have gim (dried seaweed sheets – like what they use for California Rolls) for supper to go with our rice.

Luke also started school and now leads the family in prayer every night before dinner and George joins right in. Luke is turning into a little people person and might have a future as an evangelist as he keeps telling people “Jesus is my guy!” It’s fun to see God working in his life as well and opening his eyes to the truth of Christ. Now if we can just get him to stop playing NASCAR with kids on the playground who don’t want too …

It’s hard to believe that four months ago we were waiting anxiously to return to Il San to bring George home. It seems like a lifetime ago and that he not only belongs here, but has always been here. I’m grateful for how God has blessed our family and made it one – despite all the differences. Now, I promise to write more soon, but for now, here are some pictures!
